OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Trustee Angeliina Lawson submitted her resignation to the Johnson County Community College (赌钱app可以微信提现) Board of Trustees on Oct. 21, 2021, stating her intent to pursue other opportunities. Her term will end effective Oct. 31.

Lawson’s resignation was accepted by the Board at its monthly meeting on Oct. 21.

In her resignation letter sent to Board Chair Greg Musil and 赌钱app可以微信提现 President Andy Bowne, Lawson stated, “I am honored to have served on the Johnson County Community College Board of Trustees and honored to have been a part of the process to choose the next president of our College.”

Lawson has served on the 赌钱app可以微信提现 Board of Trustees since 2018. “As a member of the Board of Trustees, Trustee Lawson has been a passionate and dedicated advocate on a variety of issues,” Musil said. “I join the 赌钱app可以微信提现 community in acknowledging the time and dedication she has committed to our College over the past four years.”

赌钱app可以微信提现 President Andy Bowne said, “One of the many things I appreciate about Trustee Lawson is her commitment to student success. She advocated for the success of all students, which is central to who we are as a community college.”

Lawson’s term was to end Dec. 31; she was not seeking reelection. Given the short time remaining in her term, the seat will remain vacant until filled in the Nov. 2 general election. New members of the 赌钱app可以微信提现 Board of Trustees will be sworn in at the Jan. 20, 2022, monthly meeting.
